Turtle Beach Control Studio
Important: Download the Turtle Beach Control Studio app before using
Update your headset with the Turtle Beach Control Studio desktop app to ensure your headset is up-to-date.
Download the Turtle Beach Control Studio (Windows Only) app to gain full access to the features of your headset. Custom Audio Presets, Game/Chat Mix, Mic Boost, and more can all be found in the Control Studio.
Headset Controls
Windows 8.1 / 10 – PC Setup

- Plug the Transmitter into a USB port on your PC.
- Hold Power Button for 2 seconds to turn on headset (Transmitter and Headset will automatically pair).
- Right-click the speaker icon in your toolbar and select Sounds.
- Select the Playback Devices tab.
- Right-Click Elite Atlas Aero and select Set As Default Device
- Right-Click Headset Chat (Turtle Beach) and select Set As Default Communication Device
- Select the Recording tab.
- Right-Click Elite Atlas Aero and select Set As Default Device
- Select the Communications tab.
- Select “Do Nothing“
- Click “Apply” to save the changes, then “OK” to exit the Sound Control Panel
- Open up the Turtle Beach Control Studio to customize your settings
Mobile Setup
- Align the headset icons on the mobile cable and headset port to connect.
- Connect the other end of the mobile cable to any compatible device. Available functions may vary depending on device.
* While powered ON, connecting the mobile cable will trigger your headset to power off 1 minute after connection is made. In mobile mode, software features, on-headset mic boom, and headset controls are disabled.
LED Indications
Headset will power off after 1 minute when the mobile cable is plugged in.
ProSpecs™ Glasses Relief System
For those who game with glasses, adjust the ProSpecs™ Glasses Friendly System for added comfort
The ProSpecs™ Glasses Relief system creates a channel in the ear cushion to help reduce pressure on your glasses frame. To adjust this, you must first remove the ear cushion. Hold the ear cushion firmly and pull it away from the speaker. The ear cushion should come off with minimal effort.
Depending on the size of your glasses frame, use the tab adjustment to create the appropriate sized channel in the ear cushion. By default, the adjustment tab is set to the shallowest setting. To increase the size/ depth of the channel in the ear cushion, simply pull the tab and attach it to the post based on your preference.
After you’ve adjusted the glasses friendly channel to your liking, place the ear cushion back onto the speaker. The ear cushion should snap Into place with minimal effort.
Portable Design + Transmitter Storage
Designed with compact storage and portability in mind, the Atlas Aero features a collapsible design with a USB transmitter that stores in the right earcup and includes a mobile cable, so you can easily transition from wireless to wired.
Charging
The Elite Atlas Aero uses a 30+ hour rechargeable battery. Make sure to charge it regularly.
Headset Storage
Always charge your headset before storing it for any extended period of time (greater than 3 months). Never store the unit in temperatures above 113°F/45°C Turtle Beach

- Remove the Left ear pad
- Please ear cushion back onto the silver ring of your headset. The ear cushion will snap into place due to the magnetic polarity.
