POWER UP
- Insert 2-AA batteries into your Outdoor
- Insert the 5 volt power cord into an outlet, then into your Weather Optional: Insert 3-AAA batteries for backup.
- Adjust time and date settings on your La Crosse
- Once the Outdoor Sensor is reading to your station, place it outside in a shaded Watch sensor mounting video: http://bit.ly/TH_SensorMounting
SETTINGS MENU
It is best to press one button at a time when setting your station.
- Hold the TIME SET button to enter the Settings
- Press the ARROW buttons to adjust the Hold to adjust quickly.
- Press the TIME SET button to confirm and move to the next menu La Crosse
Settings Menu Order:
- WWVB ON/OFF
- Time Zone
- DST ON/OFF
- 12/24 Hour
- Hour
- Minutes
- Year
- Month
- Date
- Fahrenheit or Celsius
Time Zones
AST = Atlantic
EST = Eastern
CST = Central
MST = Mountain
PST = Pacific
AKT = Alaska
HAT = Hawaii
Note: Your weekday will set automatically after year, month, and date are set La Crosse.
To begin:
- WWVB ON/OFF: Hold the TIME SET button five seconds so WWVB and the word ON will Press and release either ARROW button to turn this to OFF if you do not wish WWVB time reception. Confirm with the TIME SET button and move to time zone.
- TIME ZONE: EST will flash. Press and release the ▲ or ▼ buttons to select a different Time Zone: AST=Atlantic, EST= Eastern, CST= Central, MST= Mountain, PST= Pacific, AKT= Alaska, HAT=Hawaiian time Confirm with the TIME SET button and move to DST.
- DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME: DST will flash and the word Press and release the ▲ or ▼ buttons to turn this to OFF if you do not observe DST. Confirm with the TIME SET button and move to 12/24 hour time.
- 12/24 HOUR TIME: 12H will Press and release the ▲ or ▼ buttons to select 24H. Confirm with the TIME SET button and move to the hour.
- HOUR: The hour will Press and release the ▲ or ▼ buttons to select the correct hour. Confirm with the TIME SET button and move to the minutes.
- MINUTES: The minutes will Press and release the ▲ or ▼ buttons to adjust the minutes. Confirm with the TIME SET button and move to the year.
- YEAR: The year will Press and release the ▲ or ▼ buttons to select the correct year. Confirm with the TIME SET button and move to the month.
- MONTH: The month will Press and release the ▲ or ▼ buttons to select the correct month. Confirm with the TIME SET button and move to the date.
- DATE: The date will Press and release the ▲ or ▼ buttons to select the correct date. Confirm with the TIME SET button and move to F/C.
Note: The Day of the Week will set automatically when the year, month and date are set. - FAHRENHEIT/CELSIUS: °F will Press and release the ▲ or ▼ buttons to select Fahrenheit or Celsius. Confirm with the TIME SET button and exit.
Note: When no buttons are pressed for ten seconds, the weather station will save the last change and default back to normal mode.
WWVB ATOMIC TIME SIGNAL
- Press and release the TIME SET button to manually search for the WWVB Atomic Time Tower Icon will flash while searching.

ALARM
Set Alarm:

ADJUSTABLE BACKLIGHT
Your Backlight may be turned OFF and adjusted to 2 levels of brightness.
To adjust brightness:
- Press and release the HI/LOW/OFF button to adjust backlight brightness.
TEMPERATURE ALERTS
Set Alerts:
- Hold the ALERTS button for 3
- The temperature alert value will blink in set
- Press and release the ▼ or ▲ buttons to adjust alert
- Press and release the ALERTS button to confirm & move to the next

- Outdoor High
- Outdoor Low
- Indoor High
- Indoor Low
Press and release the ALERTS button to exit, or wait 20 seconds without pressing buttons to return to nor- mal time display
Arm/Disarm Alerts:
Press and release the ALERTS button to toggle between the alerts Outdoor HI / Outdoor LOW / Indoor HI / Indoor LOW

WEATHER FORECAST ICONS
- The Weather Forecast Icons are determined by the station’s barometric pressure Please allow 7-10 days for barometric calibration.
- This is your pressure at your stations’ location and may vary slightly from your local reporting
- Six forecast icons use changing atmospheric pressure to predict weather conditions for the next 12-hours with 70-75%
- When Outdoor temperature is below 32˚F and the forecast is RAIN or T-STORM, the station will display
FORECAST TENDANCY ARROWS
The Forecast Tendency Arrows tell you at a glance if the pressure is rising, falling or steady.
Rising pressure indicates the weather will improve. Falling pressure indicates the weather will worsen La Crosse.
INDOOR COMFORT INDICATOR
The indoor comfort display reads the indoor humidity to determine comfort level. The weather station will display one of five indicators:
HEAT INDEX & DEW POINT
- Press the HEAT/DEW button once to view Heat
- Press the HEAT/DEW button again to view Dew Point La Crosse
MIN/MAX RECORDS
The station automatically resets minimum and maximum values daily at midnight (12:00 AM).

- Hold the ▼ button for 5 seconds to reset minimum values.
- Press and release the ▲ button to view maximum values.
- Hold the ▲ button for 5 seconds to reset maximum La Crosse
TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY TREND ARROWS
- The UP and DOWN arrows indicate changes in temperature and humidity over the past 3 The STEADY arrow indicates no change in the past 3 hours.
- The arrows will update every 30 minutes and compare data from exactly 3 hours La Crosse
Temperature: Arrow changes every 2 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity: Arrow changes every 3% RH La Crosse
SENSOR SEARCH
- If you are seeing dashes in place of outdoor temperature, first check your sensor
- Hold the HEAT/DEW button for 3 seconds to search for the Sensor Reception icon will flash while searching and be solid when sensor signal is received.
- If you regain connection while the sensor is mounted, If you do not regain connection, bring the sensor within 10 feet of the station and search again.
Note:
- If the signal is lost, the station will display the last data recorded from sensor for 10
- After that 10 minutes if the signal does not come back then you will see dashes “–”.
- After 30 minutes, start looking for the sensor signal La Crosse
CHANGE BATTERIES
We designed this station for convenience, so that a simple change of batteries does not lose your data or require you to power down your station.
Sensor:
- When Battery Indicator shows next to the Outdoor Temperature, replace batteries in your Outdoor
- Then hold the HEAT/DEW button for 3 seconds and your station will search for your La Crosse
